ADA 2025 Exhibition: "Relations" at the Oliwa Culture Town Hall

For three decades, the AMBERIF DESIGN AWARD International Amber Jewellery Design Competition has promoted contemporary jewellery design and highlighted the artistic potential of Baltic amber. This year's competition was held under the theme “Relations”, encouraging designers to explore the bonds between people, nature, technology and tradition.

This year's edition of the competition attracted a record number of participants – 250 designers from 34 countries submitted as many as 365 entries, proving that the AMBERIF DESIGN AWARD is an event of global significance. The entries were judged by an international jury made up of outstanding specialists from the world of jewellery and art:

  • Malte Guttek – director of the Society for Goldsmith's Art and head of the Goldschmiedehaus in Hanau,
  • Yutaka Minegishi – artist, jewellery designer, winner of the Munich Art Prize and the Herbert Hoffman Award,
  • Bryna Pomp – curator and collector of contemporary jewellery, director of the MAD About Jewelry exhibition in New York,
  • Magdalena Szadkowska – interdisciplinary artist and lecturer at the Institute of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź,
  • Olga Zobel – art historian, collector, owner of Galerie Biró in Munich.

The jury assessed 365 entries submitted by 250 participants from 34 countries and selected 29 works by 26 authors for the exhibition, awarding four prizes.
