Amber Parade is a unique street event organised as the finale of Gdańsk Jewellery Week 2025 – a joyful and colourful procession through the heart of the city, celebrating amber as a symbol of Gdańsk, fashion and artistic identity.
On Sunday, 7 September at 12:00, from the Green Gate a dancing, illuminated procession will set off – led by dancers, stilt walkers, musicians and models presenting original jewellery inspired by amber.
At the head of the parade will be a representation carrying an amber key to the city – a symbolic opening of the city to beauty and creativity. It will be accompanied by the sounds of a marching band, setting the rhythm for the procession along Długi Targ, Tkacka and Kołodziejska streets, all the way to the Amber Museum, where this charming event will come to an end. The parade route has been designed to become a stage – not only for the artists, but also for residents and tourists, who will have the chance to experience the city in a whole new way that day.
This is a celebration of craft, fashion and local pride – an opportunity to celebrate together in an atmosphere of art, style and urban happening.
The event is open to everyone who wants to co-create a living picture of amber Gdańsk – a city of light, sea and creativity.
