Dorota Cenecka – a renowned jewellery designer and master goldsmith and amber craftswoman from Gdańsk, working for over 30 years. Since 2013 she has created under her own brand DOROTA CENECKA GIN ATELIER, combining traditional jewellery-making techniques with modern methods such as 3D printing. In her unique designs she uses silver, gold and Baltic amber, combining them with precious stones and drawing inspiration from the cultures of the Far East and the Iberian Peninsula.
She has more than 100 exhibitions at home and abroad to her name, as well as presentations at prestigious fashion shows, including in China, Paris, Milan and Dubai. Among her works is an amber chain created for the Mayor of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz.
Winner of numerous awards, including the Minister of Economy award for best product at the “Złoto Srebro Czas” trade fair, as well as distinctions for promoting Gdańsk as the world's amber capital. She is actively involved in industry organisations, chairing the Programme Council of the Association of Jewellery Form Creators (STFZ).
At the stand during the AMBERIF AUTUMN Fair, Dorota Cenecka will lead a workshop on amber cutting, giving participants a unique opportunity to learn the secrets of this precise craft and to work with one of the region's most prized raw materials.
