During Gdańsk Jewellery Week 2026, the exhibition “Winner Collection” by Ivona Haurash – winner of the Grand Prix at the 29th International Amber Jewellery Design Competition AMBERIF DESIGN AWARD – will be presented. The award-winning design, for which the artist received a kilogram of silver funded by KGHM Polska Miedź, serves as the starting point for a broader creative statement exploring the tension between traditional craftsmanship and the latest technological solutions. In her collection, Haurash undertakes an in-depth reflection on the relationship between light and the matter of amber, examining its expressive potential when combined with modern design tools and innovative production techniques. The artist's works sit at the intersection of disciplines – combining the precision of jewellery-making craftsmanship with an openness to experimentation, and their conceptual layer fully responds to the question posed by the competition theme “The Magic of Matter”.
