An artist who has been working with polymer clay for over a decade, developing his own grinding and colouring techniques, transforms his most personal experiences into jewellery – from desire, love and friendship, through imprisonment, awakening and tears, to longing, sadness, death and disappointment. The brooches, necklaces and other objects on display were created spontaneously, driven by feelings that needed to be named and worked through. Tymiński combines polymer clay with Baltic, Dominican and Mexican amber, and in his latest works he also turns to diamonds, creating miniature sculptures with a deep emotional charge. Each piece is unique – impossible to reproduce, both because of the properties of the materials and the exceptional state of mind that accompanies the artist at the moment of creation. This is an exhibition that touches on what is universal in human experience while remaining an intimate record of the creator's personal journey – documentation of his professional and emotional development that should not be missed.
