Under the pretext of semester assignments and diploma projects, at the Experimental Design Studio in the Faculty of Design at the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts we try to test the limits of technological, functional and stylistic possibilities.
Hence also the exhibition title “Spoiler Alert”, announcing the “next season”.
Co-authors of the scenario for the future in this edition are: Jan Adamiak, Zuzanna Franczak, Kamil Godlewski, Martyna Golińska, Antonina Grabarczyk, Nicholas Kościński, Monika Lewandowska, Zuzanna Roszkowska, Maja Soszyńska.
This recurring presentation of original jewellery by our students and graduates documents the search for a new aesthetic resulting from the use of digital design and prototyping methods, but also a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional goldsmithing crafts – often with a discreet presence of amber.
The exhibition is curated by Prof. Sławomir Fijałkowski, head of the Experimental Design Studio in the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts.
