Gdańsk – World Amber Capital – is making history again!
On 5 September 2025, during the AMBERIF Autumn Fair as part of Gdańsk Jewellery Week, we will attempt to break the record for the simultaneous grinding and polishing of Baltic amber!
The previous result – 95 people – was set by the Cultural and Educational Association 'Active Senior’ during Amberif Spring 2025.
Now it's time for everyone to join in: residents, tourists, and lovers of amber and craftsmanship!

- Let's show the world together that Gdańsk truly deserves the title of amber capital
- Every participant will receive a piece of amber they have polished themselves

- 14:30 – announcement of the result by the jury
